ABOUT KARYN MALFARA  (she|her)

Karyn is the owner and founder of Spruce Path Holistic Health. She is a Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (RCRT) and Reiki Master Teacher with a private practice at the Transense Healing Arts Holistic Centre in the beautiful Annex neighbourhood of Toronto.  In a dedicated and joyful career spanning over 30 years in the health and wellness field, Karyn has learned that a healthy, balanced nervous system is the foundation for optimal wellness and function.

Her own personal wellness and healing journey with interests and training in plant medicine, sacred teachings of the Divine Feminine, priestess and goddess spirituality, Celtic wisdom and Shamanic practices guide her in her day to day life and support her in holding a healing space for others in her practice.  Professionally, she has developed a solid practice foundation and qualification in her offerings of Reflexology, Reiki/Sekhem energy, Sound healing, acupressure, and aromatherapy.  Her practice invites people back to a felt sense of connection to their own body, mind, and soul gently supporting the body’s own innate healing ability with these holistic offerings.

In her off-practice time, Karyn strives to live her most optimal life…finding joy and purpose by connecting with family and friends, spending time in nature, and learning environmental stewardship, and conservation.  Her other loves and creative interests are cooking, enjoying and sharing meals, reading, music, travel and knitting.

Karyn recognizes that true success begins the second you start giving back. Inclusivity and giving back are at the core of Karyn’s values and she is proud to be involved with many local organizations that lift up and support folks in need.

Karyn is an active and proud member of the Reflexology Association of Canada and the Canadian Reiki Association.

Reflexology and/or Reiki are NOT covered by OHIP. Reflexology IS covered by a number of insurance companies across Canada. Please check with your individual insurance policy.
2Is Reiki a religion?
Although spiritual in nature, it is NOT a religion. You are not asked to change any religious or spiritual beliefs or practices you may have.

No, neither practice can diagnose nor prescribe for specific conditions.
4Can Reflexology fix my foot conditions?

A short check-in post session and an opportunity to share feedback will be offered.

7Will I receive a receipt for my session?
Yes, your receipt will be emailed to you at the end of your session following payment. It will be written for the modality you received IE: One hour Reflexology treatment OR One hour Reiki session.
